I just remembered
That I almost forgot to
Post something today

That would have been like
Almost finishing a race
Then wandering off

Being in sight of
The finish line but stopping
To pick some flowers

And forgetting that
I was ever part of a
Race to begin with

So it’s a good thing
That I remembered that I
Had almost forgot
