NanoPoblano2020: Day 22 (Pepper Day!)

In honor of Pepper Day ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ I am going to share this not so great picture of a random dried chilli pepper that I found earlier this month on top of the bracket holding the track to one of the drawers inside of our kitchen cabinets.

Another weird gift left behind by the previous owners of our condo.

Although, one could argue, not quite as weird as the random used birthday candle that we found smooshed between a cabinet shelf and its bracket. We assumed that it was serving some purpose and left it be.

All that remains of the dried chilli pepper at this point is that picture though… Here’s hoping it wasn’t serving some mysterious purpose as well.

    1. I love this so much! I don’t know if you saw the posts that I wrote about the tiny wormhole living in our murphy bed. We found *so many* things randomly shoved under the mattress. We kept thinking we’d found everything and then we’d find something else. In the end we found a fork, a large artist’s paintbrush, a couple of broken slightly smaller artist’s paintbrushes, a Roku remote control, and 3 rectangular wooden blocks (one yellow, two blue) that were slightly smaller than the remote control.
We then learned that the previous owners had at least 2 children living with them in this 624 sqft condo… I’m still not completely ruling out a tiny wormhole though.๐Ÿ˜†

  1. The little smooshed candle is clearly a load-bearing candle, so I agree it’s best to leave it be.

Also your slide-out cabinet shelves are super cool. I’m jealous of that; I am forever trying to find better ways to store all my crap.

    1. The previous owners of this condo were wizards when it came to storage solutions. There are ways of storing stuff tucked behind our cabinet doors that I didn’t even know existed before we moved in… In fact there are some that we were here for several weeks before we discovered them. This place may be tiny, but it’s high end fancy tiny. ๐Ÿ˜„
